PADESWOOD & Buckley Golf Club have unveiled Challenge Tour player Marcus Mohr as their first ever touring professional.
Mohr, from Ellesmere Port, turned pro in 2015 and after three years on the Alps Tour he finished in 2018 in fifth place on the money list to earn a place on this year’s Challenge Tour.
Last season he had six top 10 finishes which included a victory in June in the Open de Saint Francoise of Guadelope, and a second placed finish in Portugal.
He will be competing in 28 events and is hoping to make it into the top 15, enabling him to move up to the European Tour.
The 28-year-old will use the Flintshire club’s facilities to practice. Padeswood head pro Tony Davies said: “We wish Marcus every success in his progress to the golfing elite.”
