ALLERTON Manor Golf Club has been voted “outstanding” by the users of Golfshake.com, the UK’s go to online community for golfers.
Out of some 3,000 golf courses listed on the website the Liverpool-based club was amongst the top 76 golf clubs in the UK based on independent and impartial reviews left by playing golfers.
The club, which is set amongst the mature woodlands of the Allerton Manor estate, located in the leafy suburbs of South Liverpool, has an open-to-all golf policy and welcomes beginners and experienced players alike. Allerton Manor is operated by Green Circle Estates on a 150 year lease in partnership with Liverpool City Council. Green Circle have invested more than £3 million to date in transforming the former municipal course which had fallen into disrepair.
