Calling all golfers!

FORMER snooker world champion John Parrott, a patron of Woodlands Hospice, will host the Woodlands Hospice John Parrott Annual Golf Classic at West Derby Golf Club to help raise vital funds for the Hospice.

First held in 2003, the event provides an opportunity for you to support the hospice by taking part or ‘sponsoring a hole’ at this flagship event.

Woodlands Hospice Charitable Trust is an independent charity.  All care at the hospice is provided free of charge and this extends to carers and family of patients.

“We need to raise more than £4,000 every day from fundraising and donations to maintain the current level of hospice services,” explained individual giving manager, Carole Riley.

“In these challenging times this is difficult to achieve so the John Parrott Golf Day is a key event helping to raise vital income for the hospice enabling us to continue improving the lives of its patients and helping their families when they are at a really difficult time in their lives. It is only through such support that we have been able to provide specialist hospice care to local people since opening the day hospice in January 1996,” she added.

The event takes place on Friday 15th September, 2023 and is a team of four Stableford format. Entry costs £289 per team including breakfast roll, tea/coffee, presentation dinner, raffle, auction and competitions.
