Dino Falls Adventure Golf gears up for re-opening

FOLLOWING the temporary closure of Manchester’s Dino Falls Adventure Golf in March due to Covid-19, the popular Jurassic-themed golf attraction is now set to re-open its doors on Monday, June 22 with an all-new pre-booking system to ensure the Government guidelines surrounding social distancing measures can be adhered to.

Open seven days a week, 7am to 10.30pm, Dino Falls Adventure Golf customers must now book online prior to visiting to secure their tee time. Groups of up to four people from the same household can book to play both courses from 7am through to 9.25pm. Payment will be taken on arrival to Trafford Golf Centre by contactless only.

Pete Styles, director of golf at Trafford Golf Centre and Dino Falls Adventure Golf, said: “Following the re-opening of Trafford Golf Centre in May, we’re now pleased to be announcing the re-opening of Dino Falls Adventure Golf to the public too. We want to reassure customers that all of the relevant Covid-19 measures have been put in place, including our new online booking system to ensure social distancing measures are met.”

Designated waiting boxes are now visible on the pathways between holes to allow a group to finish a hole and move to the waiting box before commencing the next part of the course, all whilst comfortably maintaining social distancing. There will also be a friendly course monitor around to ensure the rules are being followed and to help answer any questions or concerns from customers whilst they are playing.

Cleanliness measures have also been increased across the building and staff have access to personal protective equipment to help keep them safe too.

Pete concludes: “We’re asking customers to only arrive 10 minutes before their allotted start time. All balls and clubs are disinfected after use and we will be encouraging customers to use our hand sanitisation stations before and after their round.”

To ensure safety, the following guidelines are now in place to ensure everyone can feel comfortable when they visit:

  • Please always stay two metres apart from other customers and staff. Additional zoning markings have been added at specific points around the building to help customers adhere to this.
  • Every ball and club is disinfected after use.
  • There is hand sanitiser available around the facility.
  • Please feel free to wear your own face mask.
  • For extra protection, the reception team will be stationed behind a Perspex screen.
  • Contactless or card payments will be accepted only.
  • If you are feeling unwell or have been self-isolating or are currently shielding, please do not visit.

Customers can choose to play the original Rapids course or try out the new Volcano course which opened in December 2019. Looking for fuel for the round or a drink after your game? The Café & Bar at Trafford Golf Centre, proudly serving Starbucks plus hot and cold food, is now open for takeaway only.
